Duties & Responsibilities
  • You are required to direct academic growth of the Programme including continuous improvement in quality through periodical review by Academic Council, Boards of Studies and other Committees or Surveys.
  • Lead internationalization efforts of course and set up study centers across the globe.
  • Guide planning  and  implementation  of academic  activities  of the  programmes  like Orientation Programmes, Seminar and Conference & Convocation.
  • Management of the budget in terms of revenue, expenses, fixed expenses/capital expenses etc. as relating to the programme in close coordination with the Director and Finance Officer.
  • Administration and supervision of curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular or extra-mural activities of the University and maintenance of the records.
  • Overall responsibility for the conduct of the examination including internal assessment and any other work pertaining to examination in close coordination with the Controller of Examinations and Director.
  • Observance of University Guidelines regarding statues, ordinances, regulations, rules and other directions or orders issued from time to time by the University.
  • Appointment of Full time and Visiting faculty as per University Guidelines and will also be responsible for Academic Administration, Faculty Feedback, Teaching Plan, Faculty appraisal, etc.
  • Subject to the overall direction and control of the Director, you shall after taking advise as director thinks necessary, decide upon grievance of students, grant of terms, admission to  examination, scholarships, etc.
  • Take necessary corrective measure related to any malpractices in any Academic Programmes and report the same to the Director/Vice Chancellor from time to time.
  • Ensure that the uniform standards are maintained with regards to Academic curriculum, examinations, evaluation system, etc. of off Centre campus.
  • Work in close co-ordination with various Deans/Director/Associate Deans/ Chairpersons / HODs of the School and with the University.
  • Discharge the duties as coordination/ Member of Various committees.
  • Any other/ responsibility as may be assigned by the Director/University from time to time
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of work experience in the relevant field.
