Prof. Jigar M. Shah has been associated with NMIMS as a Visiting Faculty since 2016 in Operations domain taking subjects such as Operations Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Technology Management, Production Planning & Control, Project Management, Total Quality Management, Service Operations, Statistics for various programs such as MBA, MDP (Management Development Program), Executive MBA, PGDM, MMS, MBA – Entrepreneurship & Family Business, Part-time MBA, Part-time MBA Social Entrepreneurship, PGDBM, PGDM – Real Estate Management, MBA Tech (Computer Engineering), B.Sc. (Applied Statistics & Analytics).
He is the founder of a software start-up with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. He is skilled in Customer Experience Design, Requirements Analysis, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Market Research, Pre-sales, and Financial Modeling. He has worked with Tata Consultancy Services on then the world’s largest Core Banking System for State Bank of India where he successfully led the team in the largest Automated Year-End TDS Activity carried out at the bank till then for over 8000 branches. Since 2012, he has been engaged in his software entrepreneurial ventures providing IT Consulting, Web & Mobile App Solutions for Production, Workflow and Quality Management, Field Sales & Service, AR Experiences, MIS Reporting, etc.
He has a strong educational background with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in General Management from the School of Business Management, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, India and a Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics & Telecommunication from K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Vidyavihar, Mumbai University, India.
