Prof. Nikhil is the Founder and CEO, Fintox (www.fintox.com) and a Marketing enthusiast with 13+ years of work experience across Fintech, Edtech, BFSI, ITES & Energy sectors in Europe, Middle East & Asia Markets.
Prof. Nikhil holds a MBA in General Management from IIM Ahmedabad & ESCP Europe with a graduation in electronics engineering from NIT Allahabad. He started his career as a System Design & Automation Engineer with National Thermal Power Corporation. He was shortlisted for the Meritorious Executive Trainee Award from CMD, NTPC LTd.
Subsequently, he has worked across multiple functions as a part of Hinduja Group Leadership Program. He has led the global market research for Gulf Oil petrol station expansion across South America, EMEA & South East Asia. He has been the forerunner for driving the B2B marketing initiatives of Gulf Oil India.
He has been responsible for overall brand positioning, product roadmap, communications & media relations as the Head of Marketing & Products at RupeeCircle, a Fintech P2P lending platform funded by Mahindra Finance, Oracle Accelerator Program & CIIE, IIM A. He has been awarded by the Ministry of Finance & SAB TV group for best case study on financial inclusion.
Before joining RupeeCircle, he has led the marketing team at CreditVidya, a Series B fintech startup funded by Matrix Partners & Kalaari Capital, working to reimagine credit underwriting using alternate data footprints. He led the partnerships with 15+ major banks & financial institutions and got felicitated with awards like Amazon AI Award, BW40under40, Gartner Fintech, CNBC-TV18 Fintech etc.
An avid traveller, he has visited over 35+ countries so far & has a penchant for abstract photography. He has curated a portfolio on India Classical Dances & owns India Nomads, a travel blog covering unexplored locations in India.
He is also associated as a Guest faculty & Industry expert at multiple institutes like NMIMS, Upgrad, IBS, SIES, Jaipuria Institute of Management, IIIT Lucknow etc.
