Dr. Arindam Roy did his Ph.D. in Workforce Optimization and M.S. (Information Technology) from IIT Kharagpur. He also has a BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology. He worked as a Senior Lecturer (Big Data Analytics) in Goa Institute of Management and as an Assistant Professor (Business Analytics) in School of Business and Management, Christ University. He is also associated as an Adjunct Professor and Visiting Faculty at S P Jain School of Global Management and Praxis B School respectively. He has taught subjects like Artificial Intelligence for Managers, Fundamentals of Business Analytics, Management Information System, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Text Analytics, Machine Learning, Python, Algorithms and Data Structures, SQL Programming to post-graduate data science and data engineering students. He also has experience in teaching working professionals. He has also conducted training for Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Data Scientists at Rakuten on Hadoop with Hive and Spark. His research interests include Workforce Optimization, Identity and Access Management, and Applied Machine Learning.
