With over 2 decades of experience in teaching and research in healthcare including human vision and related fields, Dr. Varadharajan has a track record of excellence in guiding both undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects leading to peer-reviewed publications. He has authored/co-authored books on optics and Python. He won the Dr. (Maj) S. Srinivasan Memoria Award for the Best Junior Faculty. Dr. Rajan has written a book on “Special functions for optical sciences and engineering”, SPIE, MA, USA, 2015 and another book on “Understanding optics with Python”, Taylor and Francis, FL, USA, 2018.
