Dr. Saketh Athkuri has 6 years of experience in the field of computational fluid dynamics. As a part of his PhD research, he has developed an in-house solver in C++. The main features of the solver are : It solves compressible Navier-Stokes equations and employs transition/turbulent models to simulate complex flows over bluff bodies. Further, he has developed two efficient gradient methods that employ Gauss divergence theorem which improves the stability and accuracy of the proposed gradient scheme. He has devised new transition hybrid RANS-LES models to simulate transitional flows around bluff bodies. and is also well-versed with Python and R languages. He is currently an Assistant Professor at INSOFE. He specialises in courses like statistics, statistical modelling, MySQL, and Big Data.
