Prof. Dinesh Jothiram resides in Bangalore and is an Assistant Professor at INSOFE. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the Department of CSE at KLN College of Information Technology, affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. He achieved the status of a university rank holder in his postgraduate degree examinations, attaining an 8.45 CGPA. Initially, he commenced his professional journey as a Lecturer at KRCE in Trichy, where he worked for two years before resigning to pursue his postgraduate studies. Upon completing his postgraduate degree, he rejoined KRCE as an assistant professor, contributing for a year. Subsequently, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE at KLNCIT and NPRCET for one year and three years, respectively. Following this, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of AIML at NHCE in Bangalore for eight months. Collectively, he possesses 7.7 years of teaching experience in engineering colleges.
Prof. Jothiram demonstrates great enthusiasm for Data Science, particularly due to the rapid technological advancements that continue to shape the field. He finds gratification in engaging with and learning about emerging technologies such as Big Data, Docker, MLOps, and DevOps. He remains dedicated to expanding his knowledge in these areas and is proficient in Python, machine learning algorithms, SQL, and Statistics, which are essential for machine learning algorithms. He pursued a Classical Machine Learning and Data Science course at Decodr Technologies in Delhi, opting for the online mode for six months. He has completed over 10 online courses in Complete Machine Learning & Data Science, Python, and Big Data through various online platforms. In March 2022, he completed the NPTEL exam on Python for the Data Science course, securing the Elite category certificate. Moreover, he has published more than six conference papers at both national and international conferences.
His long-term objective involves accumulating 5-7 years of work experience while pursuing PhD research in Data Science and Cloud Computing. He aspires to assume a senior position where he can contribute to improving his workplace and society. Prof. Jothiram’s strengths lie in his self-motivation, discipline, and ability to mentor students effectively. He maintains a strong desire to continually upskill himself by seizing opportunities to learn new technologies.
