Roles & Responsibilities :

Curriculum and Content Development:

  • Work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to develop engaging and effective online courses and learning materials.
  • Ensure that the curriculum aligns with Statutory/regulatory guidelines, educational standards, learning objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the integration of multimedia elements, interactive features, and assessments into eLearning modules.

Technology Integration:

  • Identify and evaluate educational technology tools, platforms, and learning management systems (LMS) to support online teaching & learning.
  • Work closely with product management, IT & functions to translate business requirements into technical specifications, development of modules & LMS enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the smooth integration and functionality of technology solutions.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in educational technology and provide recommendations for implementing new technologies to enhance learning experiences.

Quality Assurance and Evaluation:

  • Establish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality eLearning experiences.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of eLearning programs, courses, and technologies to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collect and analyse data to track learner engagement, retention, and satisfaction, and use the insights to enhance the eLearning offerings.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategic plan for eLearning and technology initiatives within the organisation.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies in the industry and assess their potential impact on the Centre’s offerings. Collaborate with senior management to align eLearning and technology strategies with university’s vision.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with educators, instructional staff, and subject matter experts to understand their needs and gather feedback on eLearning initiatives for improvements.
  • Build relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay informed about emerging trends and forge strategic partnerships.

Team Leadership:

  • Train, and manage a team of Faculties, eLearning specialists, instructional designers, and technology professionals.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.  Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
Education & Work Experience :
  • Doctoral degree.
  • Proven experience of 15 years of work experience in in instructional design, eLearning development, and educational technology integration or relevant field at leadership level.
  • Deep understanding of eLearning methodologies, learning management systems, and educational technology trends.
