Roles & Responsibilities :

Content Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop integrated content strategy for marketing content and academic content, aligned with the NCDOE's academic vision, target audience, market needs and brand identity.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and learner demands.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define course offerings and prioritise content development initiatives.
  • Work with marketing team to decide content delivery channels. Oversee all the content put out by the business to the media through, direct mail, email, interviews, collateral, speeches, recorded messages, newsletters, social media and so forth


Content Creation and Management:

  • Work with Academic Team led by Director-Academics to decide on content creation and curating strategies. Collaborate with Academic Content Partners for creation of Academic Content.
  • Oversee the creation, editing, and optimisation of various types of content, such as articles, blog posts, social media content, video lectures, study materials, infographics and other relevant formats.
  • Ensure content quality, accuracy, and relevance through rigorous review and adherence to academic standards.
  • Develop innovative content formats to enhance learner engagement, such as gamification, AR/VR modules, or AI-driven customisation.
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery and publication of content.


Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and manage a team of content creators, editors, and other content-related roles, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the team's productivity and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimise content for search engines, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and link-building strategies
  • Foster collaboration between content, marketing, and product development teams for seamless delivery.
  • Build partnerships with industry experts, freelancers, and educational institutions for content enhancement.


Quality Assurance:

  • Establish guidelines and benchmarks for content quality and ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and quality of all content produced by the team, adhering to brand guidelines, style guides, and best practices.
  • Regularly update and optimise existing content based on learner feedback and performance metrics.


Technology Integration:

  • Work closely with the technical team to integrate content into Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital platforms.
  • Leverage analytics tools to track content performance and derive actionable insights for improvement.
Education & Work Experience :
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Content Development, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • Certification in Instructional Design, eLearning, or related areas is a plus.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in content creation, curriculum development, or eLearning.
  • Prior experience in leadership roles within the EdTech or education industry is highly desirable.
