Roles & Responsibilities :
- Delivering lectures, tutorials, seminars, research work and practical sessions to students in accordance with the curriculum, using various teaching methodologies to engage and facilitate learning.
- Designing and developing course materials, Session PPTs, Pre – reads/Reading material syllabi, assignments, Reference articles, Case Studies, and assessments that align with program objectives and academic standards.
- Create educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, Term Papers Question Bank preparation etc.)
- Evaluating student performance through exams, projects, presentations, and other assessments, providing constructive feedback, and assigning grades in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with colleagues, department heads, and administrative staff on academic initiatives, curriculum revisions, program evaluations, and accreditation processes.
- Conducting scholarly research in their field of expertise, publishing research papers in academic journals, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in their discipline.
- Abide by the Act, Statute and Ordinance, Rules & Regulations of the University and to respect its ideals, vision, mission, cultural practices and tradition
- A faculty member is expected to participate in administrative, co-curricular, extra-curricular activities and such other activities assigned to them by the Dean / Director/ Pro- Vice Chancellor / Vice Chancellor as part of their duty.
- Providing academic advising, guidance, and mentorship to students, assisting them with course selection, career planning, and personal development.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ academic standing; promptly provide final grades, attendance, and other information as required by administration.
- Maintain active membership of professional organisations and strive to improve education and profession through them.
- Faculty members are required to fulfill their workload as per the stipulated University norms. Maintain regular attendance, office hours, and availability for student consultations, academic meetings, and departmental activities
- Stay updated with advancements in teaching field and incorporate relevant content and teaching methodologies into courses.
Education & Work Experience :
- Preferred to have a Doctoral Degree Ph.D or Pursuing Ph.D. and/or Master’s Degree in relevant discipline. (Information Technology/ Marketing/ Digital Marketing / Business Strategy/ Operations & Supply chain/ Behavioral Sciences & Communication/ HRM/ Business Analytics/ Finance & Accounting / Business Statistics / Economics / Legal)
- Proven work experience of 5-10 years of work experience in teaching / research / significant professional experience as SME with visiting Teaching/Training exposure
- Teaching Experience in Distance/Virtual Education will be added advantage.
