NMIMS Global is delighted and honoured to announce that NMIMS Mumbai’s School of Business Management (SBM) has made its way to the FT Global Masters in Management (MiM) Ranking 2022. NMIMS Global is part of the same university as SBM, SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed-To-Be-University, and is proud of this accomplishment by SBM.
SBM is among the top seven Indian institutions and one of the two private institutions on the list. This is the 18th edition of the prestigious list compiled by Financial Times, in which Top Global Business Schools vie to demonstrate their academic and professional excellence. The MiM rankings are determined by 16 weighted parameters, with the current-average-pay-of-alumni carrying the most weight. This is followed by salary increase, employability, value for money, gender and international diversity among students and professors and other factors.
The rankings for the 135 program participants were compiled using 2 surveys: one by the business schools and the other by the 2019 MiM alumni. Only full-time, cohort-based, AACSB or Equis-accredited MiM programs are eligible to participate. These programs are for students with little or no work experience.
With regards to NMIMS SBM (Mumbai Campus), some key highlights of the ranking are as follows:
- Only 14 of the 100 institutions stated that at least 50 per cent of their professors were female. With 54% of its faculty identifying as women, NMIMS SBM topped the list.
- On a scale of 0-10, the overall alumni satisfaction was 8.34.
- In terms of Career Progress, the institution was rated 27th.
Years of diligence, endurance, and rigour have led to this accomplishment. With more than four decades of quality education, SVKM’s NMIMS is a prestigious multidisciplinary institution that has carved out a niche in management studies. Due to its excellent academic standards and outstanding faculty and academicians, it has created programs that fulfil the industry’s requirements.
To build successful careers, the NMIMS School of Business Management employs innovative methods to cultivate socially responsible managers with a worldwide perspective. The School promotes fundamental and applied research and the creation of contextualised instructional materials for graduate and executive education.
